October 16, 2010 — I can’t believe that I have officially gotten through half of a semester of college!  It seems like just yesterday I was packing up my bags and getting ready to move in to my dorm, but now I am packing up my bags and getting ready to go home for fall break!!  Going home for the weekend will be awesome and I can’t wait to see my family and friends.  It will also be great to not have classes for a whole week.  But, what’s even more exciting is that practice officially starts on Monday!  Even though I can’t play this season, I am still looking forward to going to practices and seeing everything get going.  I have also heard that we do a ton of fun team bonding over fall break, so I am also excited for that!  I can’t even imagine having a huge room to myself and no classes for a full week… hopefully the Chinese in the Hub will also be on fall break so I don’t have to worry about whether I should or shouldn’t eat it every day.  I am also looking forward to going home so I can get my parents to buy me all new winter clothes- I’m in college, I don’t have the money to buy my own clothes yet.  But anyways, next time you will hear from any of us the season will have officially started and we will be writing about that!  So get ready to hear all about the joys of transitioning from high school basketball to college basketball!
